
Aleksander Pankowski vel Jankowski
A graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice and the Academy of Sound Production in Warsaw, he is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer of music for films, commercials, and games. He is a finalist for the Jan A.P. Kaczmarek Award – FINDING NEVERLAND organized by the Krakow Film Music Festival. He participates in theater and audiovisual projects – short films, documentaries, television series, and computer games. He composed music for the Netflix film " Spadek," directed by Sylwester Jakimow, which garnered over 20 million views in its first three weeks of release, as well as for the productions "Sunshine Eyes" (2023), directed by Maria von Heland; "W Kole" (2025), directed by Maryna Suslovets; "Untangling" (2025), directed by Hania Pikulska; and for Żabka's "Saturday Morning" (2022), a commercial produced by Papaya Young Creators. His work combines classical forms and instrumentation with contemporary sounds and electronic techniques. He experiments with a wide variety of instruments, including classical and acoustic guitars, violin, cello, piano, ukulele, zither, and oriental instruments such as the saz and oud. He is a recipient of the "Young Poland" 2023 scholarship program organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
