Born February 21, 1844, in Lyon, died March 12, 1937, in Paris
French organist, composer, and academic teacher. His organ compositions are particularly noteworthy, including 10 symphonies: the Gothic Symphony, Op. 70, and the Romanesque Symphony, Op. 73.
