Witold Jarosiński

Witold Jarosiński

Graduate of the Instrumental Department of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. A composer of incidental and illustrative music, he specializes in symphonic sound. A particularly important place in his work is occupied by Polish folk music; his numerous arrangements and folklore-inspired compositions are included in the repertoires of many academic song and dance ensembles.

He has been awarded the „Meritorious for Polish Culture” badge by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

For 30 years, he served as music director of the Dance Theatre of the University of Warsaw, becoming, as a composer, a co-creator of its repertoire. As an instrumentalist, he has collaborated with the Jewish Theatre and the Ateneum Theatre. As an arranger and composer, he works with the publishing houses Triangiel and WSiP, and with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra on the project Bazylek w Sinfonii Varsovii.

We are in the process of adding the composer's works to the library.
