Jacek Papis

A film, theatre, and opera director; screenwriter; musician; and composer. He graduated in directing from the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków (2000) and in Theatre Studies from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw (1995). He is a co-author of film music and the director of nearly twenty documentary films, including Ina Benita – Two Lives, Hollywood on the Vistula, Losers PL, Café Dancing: Popular Music of the Interwar Period, among others. He is also a co-founder of the music groups TOO MANY PAPIS and WOLFDOX, in which he performs as a vocalist.
