Lucjan Wesołowski

A composer, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist and balladeer, he composes various genres of music, including ethnic music (especially based on Oriental motifs), relaxation, meditation, theatrical, jazz and songs. He has recorded over 30 albums released internationally. He has written music for 8 theater productions. He plays (among other instruments) the sitar (an Indian instrument), bamboo flutes, buzuki, saz and other stringed instruments from Asia and Africa. In 1984, he received the main award at the "Let's Sing Poetry" festival in Olsztyn, Poland, singing his compositions to the poems of Joanna Kulmowa. In addition to concerts in Poland, he has also performed in Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Finland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany and Sweden. He leads several music groups, including the band "Orientacja na Orient" (founded in 1983), "The Lucyan Group" and "Yes, jazz!".
